The focus was on making it effortless for nurses and allied health professionals to join, stay informed, and show up - whether that's signing up for membership or registering for the annual conference.
Website Rebuild
Inspired by the care and precision that defines dermatology nursing, this project pairs a warm, professional aesthetic with a user experience built around two clear goals: growing NZDNS membership and driving event attendance. Every design decision, from the prominent membership plans to the conference highlights, was made to reduce friction and move visitors toward action. Clean navigation, clear calls to action, and an approachable tone work together to reflect an organisation that is both credible and community-driven.

Converting passive visitors into active members and conference attendees required a site that could communicate real value quickly and make signing up feel like an obvious next step.
New Zealand's dermatology nursing community lacked a strong central hub that could both represent the profession with credibility and actively grow participation. Without a clear way to showcase membership benefits, highlight upcoming events, or build a sense of belonging, the society risked losing engagement from nurses who didn't know what they were missing. NZDNS needed a site that could do the heavy lifting - surfacing tiered membership options, spotlighting conference milestones like their record 72-delegate 2025 event, and making it easy for anyone from a phototherapy technician to a senior RN to find their place. The result is a site designed not just to inform, but to convert - turning curious visitors into dues-paying members and loyal conference attendees, year after year.
